Daimler Truck and Volvo Group intend to form a joint venture for a software-defined vehicle platform to amplify digital transformation

As two leading companies in the commercial vehicle industry, Daimler Truck and Volvo Group share the ambition to lead the digital transformation to software-defined heavy-duty commercial vehicles. To amplify their efforts, both companies have reached a preliminary agreement to establish a joint venture to develop a common software-defined vehicle platform and dedicated truck operating system, providing the basis for future software-defined commercial vehicles.

Annual General Meeting Daimler Truck: Voting Results of May 15th, 2024

At the Annual General Meeting, the shareholders of Daimler Truck Holding AG ("Daimler Truck") approved all the resolutions proposed by the management with a clear majority. The actions for the 2023 financial year of the members of the Board of Management and the members of the Supervisory Board have been approved by means of individual votes with a large majority. The share capital was represented with a presence of 75.20%.

Daimler Truck Supervisory Board extends contract of Karl Deppen and streamlines the Board of Management

The Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck Holding AG (Daimler Truck) has reappointed Karl Deppen for further five years after the end of his current term of office. Thus, his contract will be extended until November 30, 2029. As member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck, Karl Deppen has been responsible for the Asia region with China, India and Japan as well as the FUSO, BharatBenz and RIZON brands since December 1, 2021.

The Daimler Truck brand FUSO announces a comprehensive update of the popular Canter light-duty truck. In the all-new Canter (for the 6.0 t, 7.5 t and 8.55 t variants), additional safety and comfort features are available as standard. Furthermore, the interior has been completely redesigned. The fully electric sister model eCanter will also receive various updates and will be available in even more variants, which will further increase the variety of applications.
